Activating Abundance [#43] With Belief

EP188: How great would it be if you could go through life knowing that everything you desire can be yours? What if you had unwavering faith? Even if someone looked around at your current circumstances and told you your dreams were not possible, it didn't matter - you still believed!

The topic of BELIEF is on my mind today because I just finished my free, 3-part training series called "Ignite Your Second Half Soul" where I shared the 3 ingredients you need to make your second half your best half and belief is the second ingredient.

In this episode I share the 3 facets of believe which are:

• Trust that you are here for a reason and you have gifts to share.
• Trust the process. There is a force greater than you at work.
• Trust your instincts (gut/heart)

An Unusual Gift That Is Giving H.O.P.E. To Those Suffering Loss with Gail Johnson

EP187: Today’s guest is Gail Johnson, and this turned out to be one of my favorite episodes! Gail is a graduate of the Second Half S.P.A.R.K. School and I’m now her business coach, guiding her in the development of her own new program. 

In this interview, Gail shared some really interesting stories about her gift and the impact she wants to make through this gift. In this episode we talked about:

• Gail’s transformational journey over the past eight months
• The ‘nudges’ that she got that led her to join my free training
• The moment she first experience her unusual “gift” as a young child

A Simple, Inspired Action Led To A Transformed Life with Laura Strachan

EP185: This week’s guest is another Second Half S.P.A.R.K. School™ alumni, Laura Strachan, an empty nester and a long term cancer survivor. Laura has been a very active student ever since joining SPARK School where she was able to recover her authentic self. She’s now confident, happy, reconnected with her husband and a great example for her kids.

Laura’s transformation came from one inspired action: an assignment from one of my free trainings that led to a huge shift that transformed her life. Just ONE SIMPLE ACTION that instigated more inspired actions! 

Her decision that day to take action led her to getting connected with the right people and community which has given her the sparked second half she couldn’t find on her own.She’s a great example that one small decision can change everything.

As Laura and I ‘catch up’ in this episode, she openly shares:

• The changes she’s made since first attending my free training.
• Her new outlook on life and how living from her authentic self and listening to her inner voice continues to open up opportunities for her.

The Incredible Changes That Come When You Rediscover Yourself with Nancy Dubé

EP183: My guest this week is Nancy Dubé, a graduate of my Second Half S.P.A.R.K. School™. I wanted to bring Nancy on and catch up on her life because it's been awhile since I had her on as a guest. I also thought she'd be a perfect guest for the topic I started the year with: living from a place of authenticity in order to have the best year of your life.

Nancy's story exemplifies what happens when you reconnect with your authentic self in the best way possible as she shows how quickly life can change once you recognize there's an issue and commit to doing something about it.

We walk back in time during this interview to when we first met and what was going on with Nancy when she first joined the Second Half S.P.A.R.K. School™.

We discuss the drastic changes she made to reconnect with her inborn personality, once she realized she was in a state of misalignment, after having a typing session with Alex Paulos who I featured in episode #181.

In this episode, we also talked about:

• How discovering her true self brought freedom to her life.
• How her choice to invest in the Second Half S.P.A.R.K. School™ pushed her to do all the work needed to rediscover her authentic self that she had lost.
• How she figured out what she's most passionate about and how that passion drove her to conceive a new business around her life experience and a forgotten joy that's been reignited deep inside of her.

Nancy did the work she needed to do to recover who she really is, and in so doing, found a deeper purpose and because of that is having the time of her life. It's not been easy, but as you can tell from her excitement and enthusiasm, it's been so worth it, and now, as a result, she's lighting up the world around her because she is being who she is meant to be.

Activating Abundance [#40] With Authenticity

EP182: In my first Activating Abundance episode of 2022, I decided to talk about authenticity because I believe if we aren't operating from our most authentic self, it is impossible to have the best year of your life.

So if you are really serious about making this year the best year of your life, make sure you tap into the truest version of you, the one that is congruent with your values and desires, and not some less than genuine version that you think you ought to be.

It all starts with knowing who you are! When you operate from that place - in alignment with your higher self - everything is so much easier and more joy-filled.

I also share a really awesome concept that was recently explained to me as it relates to authenticity: "Big You" vs. "Little You". This concept shows how easy it is to get sidetracked from our authentic self but also how easy it is to get tapped back into it.

EP181: Today I'm re-publishing one of my most popular episodes from October of 2020 because I think it's a great way to start out the year - knowing that our best life will only be lived from a place of authenticity, from who we were born to be.

Activating Abundance [#39] By Capturing Your Desires

EP180: In the last episode of 2021, I talk about how I ignored Oprah's advice and failed to create a vision board, until just 2.5 years ago. I share how I had the belief that I didn't have time to sit down and create one, but what I came to realize is that by not taking the time, I wasted time because I wasn't getting in touch with my true desires and what I wanted my life to be.

By not spending any time creating the vision of the life I wanted, I delayed it's arrival into my reality. 

Now that I'm older & wiser and can speak from experience on the effectiveness of having a vision of the reality you desire, I thought this would be an appropriate subject as we exit 2021 and begin a new year.

My Year In Review: 5 Things I Learned (or Confirmed)

EP179: No guest this week as I want to finish the year with a look back at the things I've learned, or that I knew theoretically but confirmed through experience!

I always like to look back because I've found the lessons that help me most are behind me, and in my past, I've been guilty of rushing forward without taking pause and reflecting on the lessons. And this year, I thought I'd do my reflecting with you!

It's a practice I preach and teach, and I've done it every month for the past 2.5 years. Doing the documenting as the year progresses certainly makes the annual reflecting process easier!

I'd love this episode to inspire you to think about the lessons you've learned in 2021. Are there any parallels in your life to the five I talked about?

• Did you gain new knowledge? If so, what did you learn and how has the gaining of that knowledge helped you?
• Have you been intentional in your actions? Are you closer to the results you desire?
• Are you where you expected to be when you were looking ahead to the end of 2021 one year ago, or have you done things you didn't expect to do? If so, what are those things?
• Are you living authentically, being who you are meant to be and living your best life as a fulfilled human being? And if not, why not?
• Do you believe the best is yet to come? If not, how can you change your thoughts so you can turn 2022 into your best year yet?
