EP128: My latest guest has an amazing inspirational story to share! Nathania Stambouli is a yoga teacher, retreat leader and coach who teaches people how to break through limiting beliefs, slay their stories of "I can't" to step fully into YES I CAN and in this episode, she shares how she transformed her business, which was shut down in the middle of a pandemic, from an in-person yoga studio where she was making $36,000 a year to an online yoga program and retreat business making over 350K in just 9 months!
Nathania believes we have the capacity to create a reality we love when we dare to walk into the fire and do the work. She is a champion for those who aren’t sure they have what it takes to change their life, to teach you that YES YOU CAN and to show you the way. The ONLY thing standing in your way is you (and your excuses)!
She had two major transformations in her life, both of which needed a lot of courage and trust in herself and the universe. First was when she left her corporate career in 2015 to become a full time yoga teacher, creating a retreat company and working at and eventually owning a yoga studio. Then, 5 years later, pivoting to create Yogi Flight School giving her the freedom that she never had with her corporate career OR with her yoga studio.
Her story of being trapped in a family business that made her unhappy and unhealthy, both physically and mentally, is sure to inspire you to take stock of your life and take action if you are in a similar position. She is a different person today because she finally leaned in to what her heart wanted and took a chance on drastic change. She is proof that creating a life you love is possible for everyone and the only thing standing in your way is you and your limiting stories!

Activating Abundance [#13] With Secret Anniversaries of the Heart
Friday Jun 25, 2021
Friday Jun 25, 2021
EP127: Today's episode was inspired by the June 16th excerpt in the book "Simple Abundance" by Sarah Ban Breathnach. It hit a chord with me and when something does that, I want to share it.
Did you know that June is the month of secret anniversaries of the heart?
And do you even know what secret anniversaries of the heart are? I didn't.
But once Sarah explained it, boy did some past memories come up, good and sad.
There are sooooo many amazing quotes in this 3 page excerpt, many of which I share on this episode.
So listen and let those secret anniversaries of your heart come through because they need to... ❤️

Turning Lemons Into the LemonAID Podcast with Heidi Alldredge
Monday Jun 21, 2021
Monday Jun 21, 2021
EP126: My guest for this week’s episode, Heidi Alldredge describes herself as a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, caregiver, hot chocolate bomb maker, motivational speaker, teacher and podcaster! And if you don't know what a hot chocolate bomb is, like me, you’ll find out in this episode!
Heidi started her own radio talk show in 1999 at the age of 27 as a way to overcome the very dark thoughts she was having at the time. She had the idea that by meeting and interviewing people with inspirational stories, it would help her mindset. And it did!
Not long ago, she decided to revive her old radio show as a podcast and she even took some of her old interviews from 20 years ago and added them as episodes and did an update episode with some of those guests from the past.!
Heidi has been married since 1992 to Christopher, the love of her life. She has 3 children and has hosted 5 foreign exchange students - whom she now claims as her own children. She also enjoys spending Friday nights (or any other time) with her grandbabies.
Other hours of the day she is recording inspiring interviews for her podcast, searching online for inspirational quotes, shopping for bargains, traveling with her family, lunch dates with friends, serving and helping others, going to concerts, and writing-either in her journal, notes to friends, or her own motivational speeches.
Heidi is a recovering “why-me-er” and is currently learning the art of positive thinking! In this conversation, we talked about the importance of marriage for her, she shared her vulnerable moments when she was young, her religious upbringing, what’s next for her and a simple tip at the end of the episode for people who feel stuck!
As someone who seriously contemplated suicide as a teen and again as a young adult and also dealt with the loss of a parent to suicide, Heidi wants to encourage anyone who is facing a struggle right now to "hold on for one more day" and to "turn those lemons into lemonade".

Activating Abundance [#12] Does Your Environment Allow You To Thrive?
Friday Jun 18, 2021
Friday Jun 18, 2021
EP125: Today's episode was inspired by a training my friend and mentor Alex Paulos did inside my Second Half S.P.A.R.K. School™ this past week.
He spoke of how many of us are withering in the environments we are living in and we must look for ways to create an environment we can THRIVE in.
It was quite powerful and it led me to the realization that when you are thriving, you feel abundant. And when you are withering, you are more likely to be focused on the lack in your life.
THRIVE = ABUNDANCE!
So of course I had to share this aha moment with you!
So where are you in life? Are you thriving or withering? And if the latter, what can you do about it?
Create an ARTIFICIAL ENVIRONMENT where you CAN thrive, like the coconut tree analogy I shared!
It's time to ask yourself:
- Who are you surrounded by? Who can you find to help you thrive?
- What are you doing? What behaviors are contributing to this withering state?
- Who are you being? Tune into the different feelings inside when placed in different situations. Think about the situation I shared and how my friend noticed I was "glowing" because she caught me being my true authentic self. To this day, I remember that feeling and know I denied it for too long.
If you'd like to listen to my interview with Alex and hear about what he does to help people discover their innate personalities, check out Episode 57

Monday Jun 14, 2021
EP124: James Wedmore was born and raised in sunny Laguna Beach, CA and now resides and runs his business in the beautiful red rocks of Sedona, AZ. For the last 15 years, James has leveraged his expertise to help teach Digital CEOs how to build and scale their online businesses through courses and trainings like his signature program, Business By Design, other programs such as Sales Page By Design and Nail Your Niche, as well as many other business-building trainings inside of James’ abundant course library.

James has been my business coach since I signed up for his Business By Design program back in October 2018, when I was on the cusp of turning 60 and had really nothing more than a deep desire to create something meaningful in the online space but clueless otherwise.
Having James as a coach along with his unbelievable program to teach me everything I needed to be successful has been life-changing, not only for me but for the many women whose lives I've been able to impact through my work and for the small team who now stands in support of our amazing mission.
I'm so thankful for James and so happy I took the plunge and invested in him as my coach even if he's almost half my age!!! He's my ride or die guy in this entrepreneurial journey I'm on. And I'm so lucky that I still get the opportunity to learn from him on every call we have, even after 2.5 years!

Activating Abundance [#11] With The Gifts of My 9 Year Old Car
Friday Jun 11, 2021
Friday Jun 11, 2021
EP123: Today I talk about shifting my thoughts to abundance as I say goodbye to my 9 year old car which I sat in for the last time this morning, right before I recorded this episode.
I got so sad when I was focusing on it being the last day it will be my car. But then I decided to switch my thoughts to what I love about the car and the many great memories and lessons learned I’ve had with it… like the two - YES TWO! - times I ran out of gas and the day I had a major spaghetti sauce spill.
It’s like this car is a child I am giving up for adoption!!! But now that I know how the brain works, I have a good idea of where this attachment comes from and how crazy it is. Maybe you can relate if you had a dad like mine!
So while I started out this episode a little sad and even a bit teary-eyed, once I started applying abundant thinking and sharing the memories, the sadness disappeared and I felt nothing but happiness.
Now it’s your turn!
Make a list of the things you love about your car and all of the memories it has brought to you! Or if you don’t have a car to be abundant about, think of another item you own that you often overlook and under appreciate. And make a list of all of the good that has come from having it as a part of your life!

Activating Abundance [#10] With Pandemic Positives
Friday Jun 04, 2021
Friday Jun 04, 2021
EP121: Today I decided to make a list of the first 10 things that came up for me when looking for positives in the pandemic. And I actually added an extra one for a total of 11!
I got the idea for this topic because a few things I valued have recently returned in my life - things that were lost that I took for granted. And some of the items on my list were added simply because I have a new perspective, a new appreciation for things that, if not for the pandemic, I may not have ever realized.
Looking at the past 18 months with an abundance mindset gives me such better feelings than looking at the lack that many of us felt by losing so much of the little things in our lives we just took for granted.
Have you made a list of the pandemic positives in your life? If not, take a stab at it and see how it makes you feel...

Monday May 31, 2021
EP120: My guest this week is Dr. Michelle Gordon, former surgeon and now founder of Menopause Movement: a community of women flourishing through menopause (and life). In this episode, she shares her journey from being the epitome of success, having a thriving career as a medical doctor, only to find it draining and unfulfilling and chucking it all late-in-life for a risky, but deeply rewarding and purpose-driven mission creating an online program for menopausal women. .
When menopause hit her with embarrassing hot flashes, anxiety, self-doubt, stubborn belly fat, and raging moods, Dr. Michelle knew she needed answers. Through trial and error, she began to thrive. This resulted in a transformation in both the disruption of menopause and her life. And that's when she conceived The Menopause Movement, where she helps women, who, like the old Michelle, struggle with the physical and mental challenges of menopause, find support and answers so they can enjoy life again.
Not only is this episode about her transition to becoming an online entrepreneur, but she goes deep on the important life lessons she’s learned in this process about spirituality, her personal relationships and her failures that led to her finding her true purpose.
As she says so brilliantly: “Going through the change of life is life changing - for the better - for us all... if we CHOOSE to see it that way.”

Activating Abundance [#9] By Finding The Good In A Missed Goal
Saturday May 29, 2021
Saturday May 29, 2021
EP119: My search for abundance yesterday morning led me to the topic for this episode... You see, I missed a BIG goal I had set with my team. It was the biggest goal we've set to date and I really believed it was possible. (Hint: Belief is a big part of attracting what you desire!)
But we missed our goal... And as a bit of a competitor, I felt like I lost the game I was playing. And who wants to lose?!?! Not me!!! So I woke up with the attitude of a bad loser - the type who can't see the lessons in the loss.
I laid in bed for a couple of minutes with loser thoughts that just made me feel crappier and unmotivated to get out of bed. Not a good way to start a Friday, or any day for that matter!!! (And a rare occurrence in my life since I love what I do and typically jump out of bed excited to get to work!)
But fortunately, from plunging into the work of abundance and employing this mindset on a daily basis, I quickly became aware that my thoughts were coming from a place of lack and dwelling on what I felt I was missing instead of abundance and focusing on what I have.
So I quickly flipped the switch in my head to thinking about abundance and asked myself: "What is the good in this situation?" And oh, how the amazing thoughts flowed into my brain and quickly infused me with joy, happiness, and contentment.
It was better than any drug out there!
Listen to this podcast and hear what abundant thoughts came up to change my mood so fast and shifted everything about the rest of my day.
And then hear my 3 biggest lessons about goals that I've learned and thought would be useful for you to hear, so that you too don't get so caught up in your goal achievement that you lose sight of the abundance in your life.
Lesson 1: Never be afraid of setting big goals but detach from the outcome.
Lesson 2: Don't let a goal consume you.
Lesson 3: Stay present. Be careful not to fall into a future-focused mindset.
